Danu Talis is the capitol of the Alvarez territory known as the Red Desert. The city itself lies within a fortified valley surrounded by cliffs of sandstone rock. There is a huge flat-topped pyramid located precisely in the center of the city that serves as the desert metropolis' administration building, with the market area surrounding the pyramid and the residential areas surrounding the market, all of which leading away from the pyramid ending at the large sandstone cliffs that surrounds it.

Zephaniah's Library also known as the Witch of Endor's library is an enormous mysterious library located in the located in the Red Desert. The building of the library is the size of a large palace, most of it lay buried beneath the sands of the desert, with only its topmost spire visible from above ground, because of this, the library is considered to be very difficult to locate, as it is almost completely buried under desert sand, despite this it is a popular destination for many adventurers.
